What I do with my AI to make them more useful though, is since I recruit them with Spyder Addon, in the module I put some commands to make all their skills to max, such as Aiming distance, spot distance and whatnot. Also I know Lambs has the option to define a custom key to toggle on/off the Lambs danger/combat state for the player group, but I haven't tried it either. that might have changed a bit with latests updates, maybe you had a different experience. Hopefully this will still help you a bit, or you might find some of those mods interesting enough to try them.Ībout Lambs, I said to deactivate it on Player lead AI cause a while back I had some trouble where my AI would just kinda go do their own things and get killed rather stupidly. Zeus enhanced gives more option to what you can do as Zeus.Īs I said, most of those will probably not be of much use to you if you plan on using them in workshop already built missions I guess. And also have ZEUS so I can modify or build stuff on the fly if I need to. Most of the SP mission I do is played in LAN host, so I can respawn. this mod makes the 3rd person better, there's other mod that change 3rd person but I haven't tried them. I usually switch back and forth between 3rd and 1st person, depending on the situation and whatnot, though I tend to mostly stay in 1st when in a fight.

Works great for enemy or AI lead AI, not so well for player lead AI so I recommend deactivating it for player AI group in the options. Haven't played without it for a long time, at least in SP. You can order AI squadmates to rappel down an heli so great for SP. Pretty much only use the Loadouts and Recruit modules.

You can have Air, Artillery, and Heli transport, aswell as Supply drops. Great Support mod, though it requires Ace. Ace3 is fairly modular, and you should find some customized version on the workshop that should fit your needs if you don't want to spend some time tweaking it and what not. I always play with a custom version of Ace3, without the medical components, aswell as a few other features removed. Though I don't know if you have any experience with Eden editor and building mission, I pretty much only play missions I've built myself, mods I used won't probably help you much if you want to use them in SP workshop missions that have not those mods or script built into.
